When I was a child, I was really dreaming to become a successful lawyer. I always looked up to my late father, who was an esteemed county judge in Tampa. He used to be a senior associate in a prestigious law firm Tampa Fl before he became a successful lawyer. He was very supportive to my endeavor and was very ecstatic upon learning that I also wanted to be lawyer just like him.

Unfortunately, he died before I graduated from my law studies. It was painful yet life must go on. Indeed, I was able to graduate with top honors and I was reduced to tears when I read my valedictory address because a part of me was incomplete. At that moment, I wish my dad was alive but in my heart I know that he is so proud of me. Lucky enough, days after my graduation I got a call to be an intern in one of the best law firms in the state. I grabbed the opportunity and my first assignment was to research about personal injury Tampa- based cases.

After a year, I became a full pledge lawyer and becoming an associate in our firm is just one step for me to able to surpass or level off my dad’s achievement.
